i've noticed that with FSRealistic Pro running, there's a BIG up/down head movement if i input fast left or right rudder movements while airborne. i tried disabling the vertical g-forces effect but it doesn't go away. i also went through most of the other effects in case there was some bug w/ unintended movements, but none of them had an effect. the only thing that stops it is closing FSRealistic.
if you need a video or something, please let me know! thanks.
edit2: just discovered it's part of the turbulence effect, specifically the "range" setting. i don't think this is working as intended. anything over '5' or so causes the greatly exaggerated up/down movements with yaw.
edit: i have XPRealistic also, and what you see there is i think what the intended effect in MSFS is... your head should be moving left to right from the heavy yaw directional changes, not up and down
Will get improved in the coming verison
I am also experiencing this issue. No updates have made any difference. Will give the turbulence slider a try.
Will be checked captain - thanks for reporting. As Austin suggested above, in the meantime you can reduce the turbulence range slider to minimize the effect you are experiencing.
rkApps.
If you have not downloaded the latest update, I would suggest you try that to see if your issue has been resolved.
The last update worked well for me in VR, it is fantastic and much realistic than the previous version which I also complained about in another post. I would advise using the turbulence and smoothen sliders to reduce the effect as required. Regarding head movement, I guess you are using a Monitor so it could be quite helpful to have head anticipation as well - I have used this in XP while using a Monitor. However, there could still be some upwards and downwards movements when changing direction depending on the turbulence. Head movement is not important in VR or when using head-tracking as you would move your head around naturally.
