FS Realistic crashes MSFS on loading a flight

I purchased this mod yesterday (7/9/2022). It seems if you have the auto start option turned on allowing the mod to load up with MSFS, on loading a flight, it crashes the sim. If you have the auto-start option turned off and load FS Realistic from the desktop manually yourself after you have loaded a flight in MSFS, it appears to work ok.

Is this a known issue? Any suggestions?
