Hi,
After upgrading FSRealistic Pro from version 2.0.4 to 2.0.6, the simulator freezes and enters a "hard lock" (sim sounds play in an endless loop, CPU and GPU usage drop to nearly idle and the sim has to be closed via the Task Manager).
This occurs regardless if FSRealistic starts automatically with the sim or if it is started after the sim is loaded to the aircraft at the gate. It also seems to occur anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour into the flight, regardless of the current flight phase and camera view.
Funnily enough, uninstalling version 2.0.6 and reverting to 2.0.4 as well as flying without FSRealistic entirely both solve the freezes and hard locks, which means that an add-on conflict and/or sim problem can be ruled out completely (add-ons currently installed are FSUIPC, FBW A32NX and Navigraph Charts plugins, all up to date).
Has anyone else encountered this problem with version 2.0.6?
And, on a related note: is there any way to increase the verbosity of FSRealistic's logging? The log file currently only logs when the program starts and is stopped.
@Devs: it's been a little more than a week since I've reported this bug and we haven't heard back from you yet.
As you can see from the comments above, other users are encountering the same bug.
When can we expect a response from you?
