Hi, is it possible that ver 2.05 is suffering from memory leak? I tried 2 flights today and both crashed before I could depart; I got a .NET Framework error saying I was out of memory, both times. MSFS updated, FBW A320 latest stable, FSRealistic, FSLTL traffic, LukeAirTool and VAS Acars running. I know, it's many programs running at the same time, but I never had any issue with them and it's the first time I get this Out of Memory error. Also, the second time MSFS crashed, I checked Task Manager (screenshot below) and I've seen FSRealistic reporting 2,200 MB of memory usage which looks quite high to me. FSRealistic didn't crash but memory usage went up to 2,300 MB and beyond even when MSFS wasn't running anymore. Is this normal memory usage for FSRealistic? When I start it it only requirest 50MB more or less. Win10, 16GB Ram, GTX1660 6GB video card, i7 9700F cpu, if it might help.
Thanks in advance.
I was trying to troubleshoot random MSFS crashes when I found this advice
"Open Event Viewer, under ‘Windows Logs’ click on ‘System’. On the right click ‘Filter Current Log’, place a check for Event level ‘Warning’, where it says ‘All event IDs’ type ‘2004’ and click OK. This will now only show instances of Windows running out of virtual memory, if you’re seeing these and it says flightsimulator.exe at the start of the log then you need to increase your pagefile."
WHICH I DID. HOWEVER...
Turns out damn FS Realistic was using MORE virtual memory than MSFS!! Whenever MSFS crashed the type 2004 logs searched on showed that both MSFS and FS Realistic were running out of VM. More often than not, FS Realistic was the leader. OMG. WHAT A HOG.
Stopped running it and my random crashes ceased.
SOLVE THIS MEMORY LEAK FS REALISTIC!
