Any chance there could be a key bind to stop all camera movement (while held)? This would be useful when fiddling with switches/knobs which are challenging in turbulence.
I have another challenge for the current implementation, that either a button or a sensitivity setting for this feature (e.g. position delta) would help.
I have a aluminum (8020) sim rig which has a ButtKicker mounted, and I have a frame component that holds a trackball just near the throttle quadrant. Some of the planes' engines (Islander) creates enough of a rumble to jiggle the trackball and cause it move the mouse the cursor occasionally.
A setting for some minimum mouse speed/delta or the button would allow better control over when the camera should or shouldn't shake.
I did not know this existed, and just tried it out. Freeze mode is great for button pushing, and since the concept is there I'm wondering if it's possible to expand it.
The most challenging parts are actually changing things via knobs with the "scroll wheel". Since the camera effects resume shortly after hovering over a knob, it can be difficult to select altitude, heading, or to enter nav. points in the GNS. Some thoughts/ideas:
If it's possible to detect if the mouse is over a selectable item, pause camera effects while that's happening (I'm guessing this is tough or not possible?)
Alternatively, once the camera effects stop, don't resume them unless there has been no mouse movement (like now) AND no scroll wheel activity for some amount of time (could this be adjustable, maybe 3 seconds?)
In addition, is it possible to also suppress TrackIR input, or is there no control over this? I can already "pause Track IR" with a button, so a button binding for camera effects could also be useful to tie the two together (but I do like the auto-freeze as well).
Hmm, that doesn't seem to be working for me. While I'm moving the mouse, the camera shake stops, but as soon as I stop, and just use the scroll wheel to go through letters when selecting fixes, the camera starts shaking again. Perhaps I'm just taking too long to "scroll"? Would it be possible to make the timer configurable?
Also, FWIW, I'm using a trackball with a circular wheel around it that acts as a scroll wheel, so when I stop on a knob, mouse movement completely stops since I take my hand off the ball (vs. a mouse, where you may still be jiggling slightly while scrolling).

And where can I find the freeE mode?
Hey Captain have you tried our freeze mode? In settings tab, it will freeze your camera anytime you will interact with the mouse and cockpit
